Today the Faithful of Kalmykia Offered Prayers to Ushnishavijaya, the Goddess of Longevity

OM BHRUM SVAHA OM AMRITA AYURDADE SVAHA🙏🙏🙏

Today everyone who came to the main Buddhist temple of Kalmykia recited this mantra of the goddess Ushnishavijaya (Namjil Burkhan), the goddess of longevity and virtuous merit. The Namjil Burkhan nasni choga ritual took place here.

Together with the monastic Sangha, the faithful appealed to Ushnishavijaya with a request to overcome all obstacles to a long life,  to heal illnesses, to purify negative karma, and to help liberate them from rebirth in the lower realms…

As the administrator of the Central Khurul, getsul Badma, noted before the start of the prayer service, it is important to take part in such significant religious events on the eve of the national holiday ZUL: “However, simply coming, offering prayers, and prolonging one's years is not enough. It is necessary that our actions of body, speech, and mind be virtuous, that virtuous karmic imprints accumulate, and it is necessary to practice Buddhism more.”

And we remind you that half of the 6 planned rituals have already taken place. Tomorrow, December 15, the venerable monks will once again appeal to Amitayus, the Buddha of longevity.
